after the Moss Street (first time)

The Moss Street market went quite well, and in spite of the fact that it clashed with the Saanich fair and most people said they did one-third of usual, we did okay (not quite $100 -- but considering we had no jewellry, not bad) Also, lots of people don't by from first timers -- apparently #3 is lucky as by that time the regulars think of you a legit!

Cool stuff -- The lady from "she said" gallery approached us and really wanted our stuff.

-- A guy named Gerry wants to share the kiln with me ("will work for kiln time")

-- a woman will be calling w.r.t. a champagne bottle from a special occasion that she wants to preserve by flattening!

so....

Bottles (this is what I'm focusing on today, not hers, but just to be sure I have it right and to have the Mateus bottle pair that one woman said she'd come back for -- also other stuff is in the kiln as well - pictures later!)

..........rate /hour .......degrees.............hold
1.............600.............1050 .............10
2. .............250 .............1295...........0
3 as fast as possible....1395............. 20
4 as fast as possible.......1050............10
(annealing at this slow rate gives about 30 min very close to bottle temp and over 30 at system 96 annealing temp)
5..............100 .............880 ............. 10
6. .............300 ............. 300 ...........

Other schedules that I think work.

Full fuse (96 only)

..........rate /hour .......degrees.............hold
1.............750.............1000 .............20
2. .............250 .............1390...........30 (updated this number by lowering it 20 degrees as 1410 resulted in some dragon teeth)
3 as fast as possible....1000............. 15
4 ..............200......960............60
5..............100 .............800 ............. 10
6. .............300 ............. 250 ...........

drop ring thin and/or wide or slump (96 only)

..........rate /hour .......degrees.............hold
1.............750.............1000 .............20
2. .............250 .............1250...........20
3 as fast as possible....1000............. 15
4 ..............200......960............60
5..............100 .............800 ............. 10
6. .............300 ............. 250 ...........

drop ring thick or narrow

..........rate /hour .......degrees.............hold
1.............650.............1000 .............20 (lowered the ramp rate and should maybe even go lower if uneven thicknesses are involved)
2. .............250 .............1255..........25
3 as fast as possible....1000............. 15
4 ..............200......960............60
5..............100 .............800 ............. 10
6. .............300 ............. 250 ...........

Pendant fusing or other where some texture should be retained

..........rate /hour .......degrees.............hold
1.............750.............1000 .............20
2. .............250 .............1370..........20
3 as fast as possible....1000............. 15
4 ..............200......960............60
5..............100 .............800 ............. 10
6. .............300 ............. 250 ...........
