this is a slidoo embed code and *should* display images in a neat horizontal sliding show.
schedule 1 was very good to melt the flux/glaze mix and leave a nice finish (perhaps a bit more flux would be even better) and it was also perfect to remelt bottles without breaking them. But the mica was a disappointment. Clumpy and not at all subtle.
gotta find a different way to use it I guess.

note that about a 1/4 tsp mica is mixed with 2 tbsp clear lo-fire glaze and about an equal part of 10 117 ferro flux

The Glassy Ladies are naturally interested in this cause, and were delighted to be asked to donate some bottle-palette-platters as prizes for the winning chefs.
1305 was barely acceptable for the type of tack fuse I wanted. I'll definitely go to 1340 when I do this again.
But 1305 was quite nice for getting the neck to bend on the stand up bottles -- actually a bit too much for the Grand Marnier bottle.
I know I went through much of this before, in fact it's all probably in earlier pages of this very blog.
