Ready for a big platter!

1370 was great for the pendants... the dichro, which was just glued on the top, softened with a tiny bit of raised texture left. The pieces were built in 2 layers -- slightly smaller underneath so the edges rolled over nicely. The clear ones were great and I now have my secret texture-making process (I think it's tape for wrapping pipes. Found in the basement and a very succesful experiment).

Anyway - now I'm firing full-fuse including disks and a big oval to make drop ring bowls, vases, etc. The oval isn't very perfect as I have trouble with the cutting process, but I have built it with a double-thick bars around the edge so the clear layer on top will slump over and hopefully be rounded enough to be ready for the drop ring.

Also, I have a put-together a black mask from lots of small pieces. Decorated with a piano keyboard and a bit of dichro. Then I'll slump it over a gentle curve. Could be interesting!
