Yikes

As I was watching the kiln get up to about 1315 -- I had the thought that a long soak at 1400 was going to turn the system 96 droprings into big puddles -- possibly ruining other stuff as well. So - I skipped to the next ramp which means the kiln is now cooling down and didn't soak at a high temperature at all. Just got up to about 1330 and will now do the down ramps, anneals etc. I didn't peek or anything -- who knows whether I'll get drop rings, tack fusing or what! I guess I'll find out tomorrow. But it's possible to refire the stuff that needs more heat -- much better than trying to fix stuff that has overfired or flowed all over who knows where.....
